The bituminous mixture production process begins with the aggregates which are driven from the storage piles to the feed silos where, according to the composition study, they are divided into:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Next, from the feed silo, the aggregates are taken to the dryer (oven) where they are heated to 170o<\/sup>C. From there by material transfer elevators they are taken to the sieves where the Hot materials are separated into fractions according to Composition study in sand, rice, garbilli, scyra<\/strong> and are stored in warehouses of hot materials<\/strong>.<\/p>

Then they are automatically weighed and the proportional quantities required by the composition from each material enter the mixer where they are combined and mixed with the preheated bitumen at 150o<\/sup>C (binder).<\/p>

When the mixing is finished, the final product is led through a suitable arrangement to the warehouses of ready asphalt mixture. From there it is loaded onto suitable trucks and is ready for paving at the project site.<\/p>

There, the temperature of the asphalt mixture is first checked, which must be at 140o<\/sup>C \u2013 150o<\/sup>C. Then it is ready to feed the asphalt concrete paver. The paver is responsible for paving it to the desired thicknesses. It is then compacted with suitable pavers and thus we have the final result that is in accordance with high quality value specifications<\/strong> and its behavior over time can be evaluated.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The basic raw materials are aggregates and bitumen for the production of asphalt mixture.<\/p>
