PROJECT TITLE: WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES D.K. N. TRIGLIAS AND P.K. N. PLAGION
INITIAL BUDGET: 2,706,000.00 (INCLUDING REVISION AND VAT)
SUBJECT: The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) was built on a plot of land within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Nea Propontida of the Prefecture of Halkidiki and in particular the settlement of Nea Triglia and at a distance of 2 km from it.
The Sewage Treatment Facilities (WTP) of Nea Triglia and N. Plagia consist of the following sections:
- Input and Preprocessing Projects. Their purpose is the concentration of wastewater and the removal of transported materials that hinder the operation of downstream facilities. They consist of an inlet well, sewage reception facilities, a grating unit, a flow measurement channel, two pairs of sanding / grease collection, and sewage micro-screens.
- Balancing Tank with parallel arrangement with respect to the flow.
- Biological Processing Unit. This is the central treatment unit where the neutralization of the organic load of the wastewater is achieved. It consists of two oxidation tanks and one tank equipped with microfiltration membranes.
- UV Disinfection System.
- Treated Sewage Tanks that allow their temporary storage giving the possibility to repeat their treatment, irrigate the green projects within the plot as well as supply ≪industrial water≫.
- Sludge Treatment Plants. They consist of a sludge thickening tank and sludge dewatering belt filter presses.
Our company has undertaken the operation and maintenance of the facilities from 2021 to 2024.
