THE CONTRACT FOR THE ROAD/CYCLE PATH NAOUSA-ALSOS AG. NIKOLAOU WAS SIGNED. (BUDGET €1,500,000)

The countdown to the implementation of the project has begun "Development of the road Naoussa-Alsos Ag. Nikolaou".

On Monday (14/12 the contract of the project was signed by the Mayor Mr. An. Karabatzos and the Managing Director of the contractor company "AXION TECHNIKI S.A." Mr. Dim. Arvanite. The project budget amounts to 1,500,000 euros and is financed by the Public Investment Program.

After signing the contract, the Mayor stated: "The construction of the Naoussa-Alsos Agios Nikolaos bicycle road is a major project, which upon completion will create a modern, comfortable and safe road for vehicles and pedestrians, connecting the city with the grove of Agios Nikolaos, which is one of the most important tourist poles of Macedonia. However, it is also a vital and first-priority project, for which we committed ourselves as a Municipal Authority to implement. It is part of our overall planning aimed at the comprehensive utilization of the Agios Nikolaos Grove (Swimming pool, utilization of the "Miga" Camp, study of integrated grove management, transfer of pavilions, construction of "Gerania" bridge). I must emphasize the very good cooperation we have had with the local residents and the owners of the stray plots, throughout the planning phase and which will continue, so that this useful project is properly completed, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life and the tourist development of Naoussa and the wider area".
