OBJECT:

The project included the complete construction of the extension of the Almopia Landfill and the modernization of the existing biological one, namely:

1. Configuration of the extension of the landfill basin.
2. Sealing the expansion of the landfill basin and joining the layers with those of the Phase A cell.

3. Leachate management of the total landfill, i.e

a. Leachate collection projects from the expansion of the basin and their transport

of leachate from both phases to the treatment facility.

b. Modernization of the Leachate Treatment Facility with osmosis.

4. Collection - transport of biogas to the existing combustion unit
5. Flood protection
6. Internal road construction
7. Infrastructure projects (workshop, sampling area, IT projects)
8. Environmental monitoring projects
9. Phase A Cell Restoration.
